AKRILON GD-CONTOUR board is made of expanded polystyrene resin with a flame-spread retardant additive. The product consists of 98% air and 2% plastic material. Introduced vapour expands the resin beads creating an insulation block composed of closed cells. Afterwards, the insulation is thermally sealed, conditioned and cut to desired board size. The GD-CONTOUR board is protected by U.S. patent #8,171,686.

- AKRILON GD-CONTOUR board is used complimentary to the EPS-GD insulation board. It facilitates the proper installation of the starter mesh and the installation of insulation at the perimeter, junctions to different materials, expansion joints, and at edges of windows and doors.materials, expansion joints, and at edges of windows and doors.
