Extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation is manufactured through the continuous extrusion of expanded polystyrene resin crystals.
XPS is manufactured using only virgin polystyrene resin beads. The use of any regrind material is strictly forbidden.
XPS insulation used with Akrilon EIFS must meet CAN/ULC-S-701, Type III or IV standards (formerly CGSB-51.20) – Thermal Insulation, Polystyrene Boards, and Pipe Coverings. |
